I nice follow up lesson to this would be one describing making dolma or another dish. Then we can use the food vocab in context ; )

"kalmadi" is used for out of stock, but how can you say an item isn't stocked i.e. its never in stock ?

From Büşra:

Bizde o maldan yok.
Biz o ürünü satmıyoruz.
Bizde bulunmaz.

(Or, they very well might just say "yok.")

maalasef

in this lesson it has two vowels next to each other is that correct ?
is it one of the few words that is an exception ?

Justin
Yep, Turkish has a handful of words borrowed from Arabic that feature vowels next to each other.

"Saat" is the most prominent example.

For some reason, maalesef is easy for me to remember because in french, "unfortunately" is "malheureusement." And because I have to say so often, "Maalesef unuttum"!

Küçücük hata "Language Points"-da var. Sözlüğüme göre "Maydonoz"-un yerine "MaydAnoz" yazmalısınız.

Teşekkürler!
