That just answered many questions I've always had about the dir suffix. Great lesson.

In the Language Points passive voice section, the example "Bana topu alıyor." and "Bana top alınıyor." -- should these use atmak instead of almak?

I would expect in the last sentence instead of boğazda -> Boğaz'da, because it is a name?

Yeah, we think that's better as well. boğazda would be correct if we were talking about a generic straight, but since the meaning here is obviously the Bosphorus Straight, Boğaz'da is better. We changed it.

Teşekkür ederiz :)

Hi Talha!

Thank you. I'm impressed you're going for the advanced lessons - I think it's sometimes a great idea to challenge yourself with something that is way beyond your current level.

It's probably a better idea to go through all the easier lessons first, then work up to intermediate and advanced. We will publish a "recommended order" for the lessons within the next couple weeks, so that should definitely help. Right now, it's a bit of an all-you-can-eat buffet. Sorry about that! :)

Teşekkür ederiz :) Well, while i was hearing you i felt like i could understand 70% of what you have spoken easily ,

My Main problem is to speak , Understanding is much better then speaking as i watch SOAP OPERAS in Turkce offenly & such a big fan of Turkish serails...;)

Girl i am gonna change my routine and follow your order sequence First = beginners , second =intermediaries and then move to Advance, if that's the better way...Anyways...Thanks for the advice...Be Blessed...;)

Speaking in this lesson could not be downloaded!

Thanks

Should be all fixed!

By the way, if this ever happens, you just have to right-click the link and "save as." The file is there, we just accidentally didn't set the property that treats it as a downloadable instead of a link. But always let us know and we can fix it! Thanks for reporting :)

wow.. following the podcast entirely in Turkish was tough! I managed to catch a lot of it, but there's still a lot that I couldn't.

Any chance of transcripts being made available of the Turkish-only podcasts in the future (for weaker, newer advanced learners such as myself) ? It doesn't have to be in English, just in Turkish would be enough.

Yes, that would be awesome. The course is the best I have ever seen, and I have learned several languages. I have gone through all the previous levels with no prior background in Turkish. I hope, you are still there....
