Lesson 120 Noobie
Dates
Alright guys, we gotta learn dates. Not the most exciting topic when learning a foreign language - but it's important, you'll use it all the time, and we'll do our best to make you giggle.
Psst! Want to access

Merhaba Eva! Rica ederiz :)
First, the rule about whether or not to capitalize is a little different from English. If speaking about a *specific* day, you capitalize the month: 20 Kasim, 15 Temmuz, etc. If just saying the name of the month by itself, you don't capitalize it. The same rule applies to days of the week.
However, the reason you are seeing the lowercase in the final review question has to do with how we check answers. We remove punctuation and ignore capitalization in order to make match-checking more forgiving. Sorry that was confusing!

Armel
Hi Justin,
Just want to mention - for the vocab section it says ay is moon, which is correct of course, but I'm guessing since this lesson is for dates, maybe it should say the "month" definition too. :)
Great lesson as usual :)

Merhaba Justin & Busra!
Just joined....Love listening to you and Busra :>
So grateful for the hard work you put in to making this website.
It is GREAT!
I started listening to the podcasts while driving for past few months and finally have enough time to sit down and take notes and pay more attention :).
I also noticed that the video links are not working. Is it because you have made this website while back and the videos are no longer available?
available to the site?

again and again - thanks for this nice lesson;
I've just got a little question:
Do Turks write the names of days and names of the months generally with capital letters, or not?
In your REWIEW you do it for this example:
"yirmi Kasım iki bin bir" -
but not for the last one:
"yirmi sekiz temmuz bin sekiz yüz.".
Thanks for your helping hand
Hoşcacalın
