You might have heard that "might" and "can" look the same in Turkish. That's true. . . unless they're negative. . . in which case they look different. You might want to listen in to today's lesson to figure out what in the world we're talking about.

'Gidmeyebilirler' in the 'Language Points' section is also wrong or a typo, it should be 'Gitmeyebilirler'
At the 'beginner' and 'intermediate' levels especially, you should be more careful with typos as they can be very confusing.

Thank you very much for your great efforts. These lessons are very helpful. But Justin, I don't know why doesn't "the speaking part" work??? Although it is very useful. Not just this lesson but almost the last 4th or 5th lessons of each level. Although it works in the rest lessons.

Okay, Büşra and I just went back and forth for an hour about this. So, suffice it to say, they are different and the difference can be exceedingly tricky to express in English. But here's the example we came up with:
- ebiliyor -
With present-continuous -iyor, we're expressing a factual truth about the current situation - what is and isn't possible right now. We're not making any comments on what might or might not happen in the future.
So, our friend is a vegetarian and is worried about not having any vegetarian options at dinner. We say to them:
- Dert etme. Et yemeyebiliyorsun. Sebze var.
- Don't worry. It's possible for you to not eat meat. There are vegetables.
(It is possible to not eat meat in the current situation - because everyone knows that that restaurant has vegetable options.)
- ebilir -
This is the easy one that we talked about in today's lesson. We're talking about the possibility of something happening in the future.
Çok aç değilim. Yemek yemeyebilirim.
I'm not very hungry. I might not eat.
(I might not eat in a future situation. It's undecided right now.)

You have "cumartesiye kadar" translated as "until Sunday" in the dialogue.
I thought sen +locative became san + a, sana.
Is sene in the last sentence something else ?
