Would "sizin amcaninlar" be correct for the formal answer for the last review question?
Justin
Hi Sean! Good question. I think you mean "sizin amcanızlar," right?
That's actually not in usage. Presumably because if you are referring to someone's family in this way, you are probably close enough to be using the informal "you."

Is "annecim" the same as "anneciğim"? The "-cik" suffix turns "mother" into "mom" or "mommy," right? It is a diminutive. So, is "annecim" just a shortened form, like "daka" for "dakika"? And can this happen with other diminutive words? I guess a possessive suffix has to be involved. ... Teşekkürler!
Justin
Yes, that's exactly right. (I changed the suffix break down in the dialog to make that more clear.)
Now that I think of it, I almost never see -cik spelled out.
Büşracım
kedicim
babacım
(Unless there's no personal suffix, of course.)

Maalesef "Fun" sayfasında video yok. Looks like Youtube blocked it :(

Can "selamları var" also mean "He/she says hello", depending on the context?
Justin
Yep! There's also "Selamı var" which is explicitly in the singular.
Caroline
Thanks, Justin.

Thanks, Justin.

I enjoyed the fun tab, and glad the girl singing the song didn't get cold on the beach on a hot day with her large furry hat! Thank you as always for a fun lesson. Best regards.
