Open Conditionals

Turkish has two ways to say "if" with the conditional suffix -se. Open conditionals are those that express possible, open futures: if this happens, then this will happen. We'll look at the other type - closed conditionals - in the next set of exercises.

Present Open Conditionals

Add -se after the simple present to express possible futures.

Open Conditionals in Other Tenses

Add -se to the end of another tense to make the open conditional.

Varsa and Yoksa

Complete the sentences with varsa or yoksa.
